Aprehend is an EPA-registered biological fungal spray (Beauveria bassiana) that kills bed bugs on contact and continues to spread through the colony for up to 3 months after application. When a bed bug walks through the treated area, the fungal spores attach to its body and penetrate its exoskeleton, killing it within 3–7 days. The dead bed bug then passes the spores to other bed bugs it contacts, creating a cascading kill effect throughout the entire colony. This is an ideal solution for moderate infestations and long-term preventative protection.
